1. Temporary error, Cycle power on and off.

Work Card. It will be reset if not removed.
1. Perform NVRAM initialization by holding down the ( Reset ) button
for more than 20 seconds while power on the printer. 2.
If error persists replace the formatter board HP

Remove EIO / Net Work Card. It will be reset if not removed.

the printer.
2. If error persists replace
the formatter board.

1. Defective SIMMs. 2.
Replace memory SIMMs.

FAIL) 1. The
storage device is failing to write. Printing can continue, but there
might be some unexpected behaviors because an error occurred in
permanent storage. 2.
Press the SELECT button to continue. 3.
Turn the printer off and then turn the printer on again. 4.
If the 68.0 error persists, initialize the NVRAM 5.
If the error message persists, replace the formatter. 6.
For the 68.1 error message, reinitialize the hard drive. 7.
If the 68.1 error persists, replace the disk. HP

CHANGED) 1. An
error occurred in the printer permanent storage and one or more
printer settings has been reset to its factory default. 2.
Press the SELECT button to continue. 3.
Turn the printer off and then turn the printer on again. 4.
Check the printer settings to determine which settings have been
changed. See "Settings and defaults" and "Control panel
menus". 5.
Perform a NVRAM initialization. 6.

1.
One or more MFP settings are invalid and have been reset to the
factory default settings, Printing can continue, but some unexpected
functions might occur if an error occurred in permanent storage.
2. Touch OK to clear the
message. If the message is not cleared, turn the MFP off, and then
turn the MFP on.
3 Determine which settings
have changed by printing a control panel menu map.
4. Perform an NVRAM
initialization.
5. Replace the formatter.

4345MFP, 5025MFP, 5035MFP ERROR 68.X PERMANENT STORAGE FULL
1. The MFP NVRAM is full.
Some settings that are saved in the NVRAM might have been reset to
factory defaults. Printing can continue, but some unexpected functions
might occur if an error occurred in permanent storage.
68.0 - Onboard NVRAM
failure.
68.1 - Memory DIMM or hard
disk failure.
2. Touch OK to clear the
message. If the message is not cleared, turn the MFP off, and then
turn the MFP on.
3. For 68.0 errors,
perform an NVRAM initialization.
4. For 68.1 errors:
a. use the HP Web Jetadmin
software to delete files from the hard drive.
b. Replace the formatter.
c. Reinitialize the hard
drive.
d. Replace the hard disk.
HP COLOR LASER PRINTER 4500, 4550
1. NVRAM error.
2.Change
