The tray that X specifies is not lifting correctly.
2. install the tray and
listen carefully. You should be able to hear the paper stack being
lifted. you can also watch the paper level indicator on the front of
the tray to see if it moves.
3. For Tray 2, verify that
connector J93 on the DC controller PCA is firmly seated. This
connector is for the lift motor.
4. For trays 3, 4, or 5,
verify that connector J91 on the DC controller PCA is firmly seated.
5. If the lift motor for
that tray is not functional, first verify that nothing is obstructing
its movement. Replace the lift motor for the tray if necessary.

1. The specific tray has
experienced an error while lifting the media.
2. Remove the indicated
tray to see if the message changes. Make sure that all of the
shipping tape or inserts have been removed.
3. Install the tray and
listen carefully. You should be able to hear the paper stack being
lifted. You can also watch the paper level indicator on the front of
the tray to see if it moves.
4. Make sure that the
tray lift sensor flag is functioning correctly. Replace the tray if
necessary.
5. For Tray 2 and Tray
3, verify that connector J324 on the DC Controller PCA is firmly
seated. This connector is for Tray 2 and Tray 3 lift motors and
sensor switch assemblies.
6. For Tray 4, 5, or 6,
verify that connector J1505 on the corresponding HCI PCA is firmly
seated. Also check J1506 on the corresponding HCI PCA. make sure to
check the correct connector on the associated HCI PCA for the 3 x
500 sheet feeder.
7. If the lift motor for
that tray is not functional, first verify that nothing is
obstructing its movement. Replace the lift driver assembly for the
tray if necessary.

The paper in the paper tray is not lifting the media to the top. 2.. Check
tray for obstruction. Reload paper in tray and make sure it is
properly straight in paper tray.
2. Remove and Reseat paper tray. And swap trays 2 and trays 3.
3. Replace the PJ4
