EIO CONFIGURATION ERROR
ALL HP LASER PRINTERS
1. I/O configuration for the computer or printer is incorrect.
2. Wrong or damaged I/O cable.
3. Computer is powered off.
4. Damaged printer I/O port. 5.
The printer's EIO card in slot X has overflowed its I/O buffer during
a busy state. 6.
This error can occur if the driver you are using is not IEEE-1284
compliant. Down load and up to driver 7.
Indicates the parallel buffer has overflowed. 8.
Press go or continue to resume printing.
HP LASER PRINTERS 4,4+, 5, 5P,
6P
1. The computer and printer are not communicating. 2.
Check the network cable or reseat the cable.
HP
LASER PRINTERS1100, 2100, 4000, 4050, 3100 FAX 1.
To much data was sent to the EIO card in the specified slot. An
incorrect communications protocol might be in use. 2.
Check the host configuration. 3.
To much data was sent to the parallel port . 4.
Check for a loose connection and make sure to use a high-quality
cable. Some cables might be missing a pin connections. 5.
Check and make sure that you use the latest version of the printer
driver. HP
LASER PRINTERS 2200 1.
Verify that the printer cable is connected properly and fully seated
at connections. 2.
Always use a high qualify cable, some non-HP cables might be missing
pin connections, or might otherwise not conform to IEEE-1284
specifications. 3.
Replace the formatter. HP
LASER PRINTERS 2300, 2410, 2420, 2430 1.
To much data was sent to the EIO card in the specified slot. An
incorrect communications protocol might be in use. 2.
Check the host configuration. 3.
To much data was sent to the parallel port . 4.
Check for a loose connection and make sure to use a high-quality
cable. Some cables might be missing a pin connections. 5.
Check and make sure that you use the latest version of the printer

LASER PRINTER P3005, 5200 1.
The device EIO card in slot X has overflowed its I/O buffer during a
busy state. 2.
Press SELECT button to continue printing, Data will be lost. 3.
If the message persists, contact HP Support.

Too much data was sent to the EIO card , embedded HP Jetdirect print
server, or USB buffer.

Press OK to print the transferred data.

printers EIO card in slot X has overflowed its I/O buffer during a
busy state. 2.
Check the configuration of the EIO card and the host computer. If
error message persists replace EIO / NETWORK card. 3.
The printers parallel buffer has overflowed during a busy state. 4.
Check the parallel configuration to ( High speed to NO and Advanced
functions to OFF.) 5.
Replace the formatter board.

1. Too much data was sent
to the EIO card in the specified slot. An incorrect communications
protocol might be in use.
2. Touch OK to print the
transferred data, some data might be lost.
3. Check the host
configuration. If this message persists, replace the device in the EIO
slot.

To much data was sent to the EIO card in the specified slot. Press GO
to clear the message. ( Data will be lost.) 2.
Too much data was sent to the parallel port. 3.
Make sure that your using a up to date driver. 4.
Check for a loose cable connection and make sure to use a high-quality
cable. Parallel cables might be missing pin connections.
HP LASER PRINTER 5SI/8000
1. Using a non HP MIO device.
2.This
is an I/O buffer overrun error on the printer's upper slot HP MIO card.

To much data was sent to the EIO card in the specified slot. An
improper communications protocol may be in us. 2.
To much data was sent to the parallel port. This error can occur if
the driver you are using is not IEEE-1284 compliant. Down load the
latest driver for this printer.
HP LASER PRINTER 4500

Indicates the parallel buffer has overflowed
2. Memory overflow. Print job to large or to complex.
3.The
EIO buffer for the EIO card in slot "X" has overflowed during a
busy state. 4.Press
GO to resume printing and then resend the job. The data will be lost.

To much data was sent to the EIO card in the specified slot. Press GO
to clear the message. ( Data will be lost.) 2.
Too much data was sent to the parallel port. 3.
Make sure that your using a up to date driver. 4.

HP LASER PRINTER 8500
1. The EIO buffer has overflowed during a busy state. 2.
Indicates the parallel buffer has overflowed
1. This might happen if several complex jobs are sent simultaneously via
the network and are larger than the overflow will allow.

The printer EIO card in slot X has overflowed the I/O buffer during a
busy state. 2.
Move the EIO card to different slot. 3.
Replace EIO card/jetdirect card. 4.
The printer parallel buffer has overflowed during a busy state. 5.
Reseat the parallel cable. 6.
Replace the parallel cable. 7.
Replace the formatter board.
